Subject Selection
Before Grade 10 begins, students pick the O Level subjects they’ll study for the next two years. Besides the compulsory subjects, they have to decide on a major subject group like Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, or Business. On top of that, students get to choose two more subjects they’re interested in from a bunch of options.
CAIE Preparation
During Grades 10 and 11, students concentrate on their compulsory subjects and the major groups they’ve chosen. They also dig into elective subjects they picked. This is when students work hard on understanding learning outcomes, going through past papers, understanding marking schemes, and checking out examiners’ reports. In Grade 10, students take their Pakistan Studies, Urdu, and Islamiyat O Level exams. The rest of the exams happen in Grade 11. It’s a time of focused learning and gearing up for success!
